About GFTH
Who we are
A foundation built around the gap. The services exist and the opportunity exists. Too often, access does not.
Capability is not the problem
GFTH, the Gateway Foundation for Tourism and Hospitality, is a philanthropic, not-for-profit foundation established in Bangladesh in 2026.
The foundation began with an observation from the hospitality and overseas employment sectors: capable people were being kept out of decent work because they could not afford the certificate that proved what they could do.
That observation shaped our first programme direction. It did not limit our mandate. GFTH works across skills and scholarships, health, humanitarian response, gender equity and emerging community needs.
We fund access through existing Bangladeshi institutions rather than building parallel systems, so that support can be tracked from decision to outcome.
Vision, mission and valuesHow GFTH is built
We fund access.
We do not build institutions.
Bangladesh already has the training institutes, the clinicians and the relief networks. What it lacks is a way for people to reach them.
Accredited training providers where GFTH can fund seats instead of building its own campus.
Permanent programme pillars. Every activity, present and future, sits inside one of them.
Fees charged to any trainee, patient or family, by GFTH or by a partner provider.
What we do
Five areas, one standard
