The problem

The barrier is
rarely ability.

Across Bangladesh, capable young people are too often locked out of formal skills training by the cost of a course, assessment and certification.

Employers need people in hospitality, construction, healthcare support and light engineering. Applicants need a recognised route into those roles. For families already managing a tight household budget, the cost of training can make that route impossible.

The result is not a shortage of potential. It is a gap between people ready to learn and the access they need to move into dignified work.

What GFTH does

We fund the steps between training and work.

GFTH focuses on the costs and connections that keep capable people out of recognised training and employment.
